Action in the B1 League for blind football

Disability

From grassroots to the elite game, whether you're a coach or a player,  here is how you can take part in disability football

Players

There has never been a better time to get involved and play football, whatever your ability level. There are now more opportunities than ever to play football if you have a disability.

Gloucestershire FA believe in flexible, inclusive and accessible playing opportunities for everyone, and are committed to delivering a range of opportunities for players with a disability to access football at various levels across the county.

If you want to join an existing session or set up a new club, there is an opportunity for everyone with a disability to play football.

Coaches

The FA have appointed a new FA Coach Mentor, Simon Russell, who will work specifically within Disability Football to support coaches in Gloucestershire.

If you are a Coach volunteering within Disability Football or a coach with a disability and would like support from Simon, please complete the form below.

Disability Leagues

They also participate in the Ability Counts Leagues and provide players an opportunity to play competitive football.

The Gloucestershire FA are excited to have a newly formed Youth Ability Counts U16s League for the 2022-23 season (4-year age banding) and are looking for this to continue to grow as more clubs enter.

Take a look at the League tables below.
