The GFA has welcomed two new members of staff to begin 2025. Lisa Innes takes up the role of Facilities and Hospitality Manager while Ed Malin joins the Association as Finance Apprentice.

Lisa will take responsibility for the GFA’s Oaklands Park headquarters, ensuring a high level of customer service and leading on facility improvements. Lisa brings a wealth of experience in the hospitality industry. “I was previously Assistant Manager - Front of House and Bars at a conference/leisure centre, where I worked for 28 years.”

Ed will be supporting the finance team in raising invoices and reconciling payments. “I previously worked as assistant manager of a fast food branch. I am looking forward to becoming a fully qualified accountant and being able to take on more and more responsibilities. I play 6 a side football on a Tuesday night and I play in goal for our team – we are currently fighting for promotion from the bottom division!”
