Ramadan and equal game events at the GFA

Two February events at the GFA

The GFA will be delivering two events this month, focused on creating a fairer and more inclusive game.

The Gloucestershire FA is pleased to confirm details of two events coming up later this month. First up is our Ramadan inclusion workshop, to take place online, before Oaklands Park hosts an Equal Game event to help you grow the game for women and girls.

Ramadan event - Wednesday 26th February, 7pm - 8pm

We will be joined by FA Coach Developer Abdoullah Kheir and other guests, who will be sharing and discussing best practices around how to prepare and accommodate for players, coaches and volunteers who are observing Ramadan.

This event will take place online via Microsoft Teams.

Those who can't attend are encouraged to take a look through The FA's Ramadan guidance - clubs and leagues are reminded that they may move fixtures to accommodate players observing Ramadan.

Equal Game Workshop - Thursday 27th February, 6:30pm - 9pm

If you are looking to grow female participation at your club, sign up to our free face-to-face training workshop. The workshop will explore everything you need to know to grow and develop female football at your club.

This event will take place at Oaklands Park in Almondsbury, BS32 4AG.
