Disability Football Support
“I have been involved with disability football and community sport for 8+ years. I have experience helping to create inclusive physical activity opportunities in Gloucestershire, leading on sourcing funding, delivery and evaluating projects. This has included working within Powerchair and PAN disability football settings.
Gloucestershire FA employs Kieran Franks as Disability Football Ambassador, giving support to clubs looking to provide opportunities within the disability football pathway.
The Disability Football Ambassador role is one which can support clubs in every stage of their journey to inclusion, helping with initial discussions, plans and implementation and sustainability of their provision specifically for disabled people.
“I have been involved with disability football and community sport for 8+ years. Since graduating at Worcester University in 2018, I have experience as a Sports Development Manager at Goals Beyond Grass helping to create inclusive physical activity opportunities in Gloucestershire, leading on sourcing funding, delivery and evaluating projects. This has included working within Powerchair and PAN disability football settings. In addition, I work as a lecturer in FE General Sport, focusing within the PE and Coaching department at Hartpury College.”
